Merriweather camera policy

I was just at Merriweather last month for the Jane's Addiction/NIN show and I didn't find out until after I got there that the bands had relaxed the camera policy for the show. I would have loved having my DSLR with me but for this Lips show I will actually be on the floor and I should have a nice prime lens by then so I would *really* love to have my DSLR at the show.

What are the odds that they could request a less fascist camera policy? I can't get photos in low light worth a damn with a point and shoot.

you can probly bring anything

you can probly bring anything in there. i've seen people carry in pro cameras with lenses and all that. i myself brought in my canon sx10is (which kind of looks like a dslr) last month. you should be ok.

I dunno...everything I read

I dunno...everything I read says no professions cameras (detachable lenses) are allowed. Kinda silly because mine is hardly a pro camera but it does have detachable lenses (just a Nikon d40). I would hate to wait in line and then have to go all the way back to my car to drop off the camera and then come back.

The only thing I miss about the huge-pants fad in the 90s/00s is that you could walk into a concert with pretty much anything.

Good camera

Which you all the best with your mission and your camera too.
This is a nice show & worth taking photos, but i think they don't permit using flash lights.
This will require best settings for the camera Iris to take photos in dark
