Listened to all 3 songs.
Convinced of The Hex - Can't wait to hear it live. Like It!
The Impulse - Not sure if it's meant for live. At 1st I thought it would be a great replacement for Vein Of Stars but then I couldn't understand any of the words. Gonna take a little bit to figure it out.
Silver Trembling Hands - Can't wait again. Not as insane and thrashy as the poor YouTube video would suggest. Nice break downs.
Very pleased overall. Much better than our 1st peek of AWWTM. Remeber that? Ambulance Driver. I was like oh no.

Loving this too, My fav right
Loving this too, My fav right now has to be silver trembling hands, I like the energy, i like the harp, i like the build up and release with the middle parts.... convinced of the hex is cool, i like the messiness. The impulse eh. might take a couple few listens to grow on me... not that i dont like it, kinda radioheadish... still a good song tho...

"Silver Trembling Hands" is epic .. it is like Joy Division jamming with Miles D. And then right before the vocals come in that traveling from speaker-to-speaker sample of what sounds like someone running as if we were listening to Dark Side of the Moon.
"The Impulse" is filler.
"Convinced of the Hex" is also top notch.
Excited for Embryonic? Yes. Hope it's out soon and they play some new songs in August..

I like all three tracks, but "The Impulse" just seems like x-spacey-Flaming Lips-existential-slow jam. "Silver Trembling Hands" is by far my favorite. It's a return to the band's pych-punk roots, but done so much better.

The Impulse does not do anything for me, maybe if the vocals were not processed.
the other two work for me and get better each time.
I really like the messy chaos of Convinced of the Hex.
Silver Trembling Hands works too but feels like it needs one more thing from Steven to make it break through.
What a great way to end a rough work week than to have new Lips songs.
