I'm selling my (near mint) copy of Waking Up With A Placebo Headwound (the Flaming Lips' special edition photo book) on eBay right now. There's only a day left on the auction, and the book is out of print now (there are only 1500).
It's signed by the band and Michelle, so take a look. Right now it's only at about $20, which is much less than it actually cost me in the first place. There's no reserve, so it's a pretty great opportunity to grab a copy of this great piece of Flaming Lips history for a great deal!

Yeah, I wrote something in the description about how there's a little creasing on the bottom of the box, and it's in the picture, so it would be pretty jerky of me to not include it!

Yeah, the box isn't actually wood, it's more of a stiff cardboard with a shiny finish. It's the original box, pictured in the photo on the auction that will be included with the book.

Well, the book is awesome. So awesome in fact, that after my getting it and seeing how cool it was, my roommate got himself a copy too. Now, it seems kind of silly to me to hoard two of this killer piece of Lips history in my apartment, and the following lyric from Wilco's "Sunken Treasure" came to mind:

Thanks, guys. I was a little worried when I first posted this here, because it was only at like twenty bucks, which seemed like a shame because I paid about $130 for the book to begin with. I'm happy with where it is now though. Of course if it keeps going up, I won't complain!
