RE: B-side Tracks

Hi, Jackson. I haven't received the B-side tracks either, and I just saw the Lips last night in Pomona. Not sure what the status is, but my understanding was that they should have been made available before the show. I'm being patient though. If you get yours please let me know.

Just went up on the site, but

Just went up on the site, but also wanted to put it in here:

Your hand selected B-Sides are ready!

Thanks again for purchasing your Flaming Lips tickets to our upcoming shows! We look forward to seeing you all out there!

Our three hand-selected B-sides are now ready for you to download as a part of your ticket bundle! We chose these three rare tracks just for you, our loyal fans. They include, “Anything You Say Now, I Believe You,” “UFOs Over Baghdad” and “What Does It Mean?” We also added in a bonus song from our tour partners, Stardeath and White Dwarfs, called “Age of the Freak”.

These B-sides are IN ADDITION to the 3 songs from our brand new studio album EMBRYONIC (available everywhere on October 13th) that you already downloaded.

You will also get an official live audio recording! Most concerts will be available 3-5 days after the show you attend, or you can wait until the end of the tour. (Don’t worry, we’ll send you a reminder about the live show download.)

Instructions to redeem your B-sides:
1. Go to http://flaminglips.com/ticketbundle
2. If you're not already logged in, do so. TIP: This is the same username and password you created when redeeming your first 3 songs.
3. Download your music!

For help with your downloads please contact fansupport@wbrsupport.com

Came with Star Death's Age of

Came with Star Death's Age of the Freak...They're really not trying to distance themselves from The Flaming Lips and 'Wayne's Nephew'

But I can't say I wouldn't do the same in their position, either way did everyone get:

'Anything You Say Now, I Believe You'
'UFO's Over Baghdad'
and 'What Does It Mean?'

holy crap the tracks are

holy crap the tracks are amazing!

"Anything You Say" was one i've heard since the band had it on their myspace last year, so that's nothing new... but it's still a very good track.

The other two--"UFOs Over Baghdad" and "What Does It Mean?"--are, at a first listen, just about as awesome as anything the Lips have put out. If these are Embryonic B-Sides, then i can't imagine how mind-blowing the album must be...

i'm thinking, considering the political nature of the two latter songs, specifically "UFOs", that they were recorded around the same time as "Anything You Say" or between Yoshimi and Mystics or very recently and are throwaways from Embryonic....

B-sides

I think I like UFOs over Baghdad and What does it mean better than the Embryonic album tracks. These are nice songs.
Just got back from the Seattle (actually Redmond) show. Really good performance all around, thought Wayne sounded great. Pompeii was extremely powerful.

to those not on the older

to those not on the older site..

Kliph says:

"UFOs Over Baghdad" is an unfinished outtake from Mystics.
"What Does It Mean" was rejected from the last "Spider-Man" soundtrack.
"Anything You Say Now" was recorded for a movie about mushrooms during the mixing sessions for "Christmas On Mars."

Its nice of them to offer B

Its nice of them to offer B sides but these were a little weak. They should of dug deeper for something like that version of race of the prize they did back when ol ronnie jones was bringing the noise.

3 of 4?

Have you noticed that the tracks say '1 of 4' or '3 of 4', yet there are only 3 tracks?

Race with Ronald

Josh, there is no such version. I'm positive. Would love to hear Ronald jam with them again, though.
