Music videos

In keeping with most other things Flaming Lips, the band have always made the promotional videos for the singles their way. Here you can see those videos, as well as other videos, blips & animations promoting the release of 'Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots', and some miscellaneous Lips footage.

It looks like you're on a PC, so we've given you the Windows Media Player page by default. If you'd prefer, you can also use QuickTime to view the videos.

During the band's first ten years on Warner Bros Records, they made videos for eleven songs. All but one of those videos were directed by Wayne, with long time collaborator Bradley Beesley usually taking the role of director of photography and making sure they turned out okay.

Wayne's ethos for video making in the past has always been to create something interesting and fun, but without breaking the bank since, "It's not like millions of people are going to see them anyway..." Hence you will see the extended Lips family making various appearances in these videos, along with the sights of Oklahoma City and various cheap props!
